What about digital in France?

Today we will be basing ourselves on the 6th edition of the Growth & Digital barometer conducted by ACSEL. The survey is based on a sample of 700 companies from the retail sector in France, from March 14th to April 8th 2022.

According to Acsel, 51% of French retailers say that digital contributes to their turnover and 57% consider that digital contributes to local commerce. These figures have increased since 2021, which is a clear indication that following the health crisis all businesses have had to take a digital turn. Consumption patterns are still based on online shopping despite the end of the crisis, these habits have become anchored in the daily life of consumers.

In terms of social networks, we note that 72% of businesses have a page on social networks, 73% of businesses have set up a showcase site to respond optimally to customer requests.
